Steve has much experience in sharing his skills and love of drumming with others

Steve is a highly accomplished and sought-after drumming coach and percussion teacher, with extensive experience teaching both privately and at respected music institutions, ranging from youth centers and colleges to university level. His expertise in drum kit instruction is widely recognized, having authored a best-selling drum tutorial book and accompanying CDs on Amazon.co.uk, produced a drumming DVD, and created a popular online course on Udemy.com. In collaboration with his student and colleague Joel Felsenstein, Steve recently co-founded "Learn Drums International," an innovative Facebook forum designed for drummers worldwide to exchange ideas, skills, and insights. His mission is to share his passion, knowledge, and mastery of drumming with a global audience.

In addition to his teaching, Steve leads dynamic drumming workshops, offering sessions on the history of drums, modern drum kit playing, and group Samba drumming. His business acumen within the music industry is equally impressive, with a proven track record in band management, promotion, and publicity. His work has been supported by numerous successful grant applications from prestigious organizations such as the Arts Council of England, the Welsh Assembly, the Greater London Council, and The Musicians' Union.
